The story so far

i insisted it was a sign. A national daily published my handwritten article on living through Punjab militancy when i was a teenager. But youth craves drama and i found myself instead becoming a TV journalist, taking a sabbatical more than a decade later as a senior news editor and senior news anchor from NDTV .

Much to my father’s delight, motherhood brought me back to my first love, writing. There is some charm to being a fourth generation print journalist.

My work mostly a social commentary but occasionally personal has been published in some of the best known news organizations in India like the Indian Express, Times of India, NDTV, The Quint as also in Pakistan’s top newspaper, Dawn.
