Janice Bitters

Hi. I'm Janice, a working reporter interested in business, transit, economic development, education and technology. I'm especially interested in how all those things intersect - and I promise they do.

I'm not afraid of lengthy technical reports, numbers or clunky content management systems. As a journalist, I've covered state Legislature, higher education, real estate, public and private development, transit, and regional planning.

For awhile, I even regularly wrote lifestyle features for the Minneapolis Star Tribune in the Twin Cities.

I'm a proud University of Minnesota alum, where I graduated with a bachelors degree in professional journalism and got my first taste of field reporting at the award-winning, student-run Minnesota Daily newspaper.
