Juliane Block's achievements include more than 10 short films, 2 feature films, music videos, commercials and travel documentaries. She has given lectures on different filmmaking subjects in Hong Kong (Hong Kong Int. Film Academy), Singapore (SAE Institute), and Berlin (HFF - Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen, UdK - Universität der Künste, media.net). Her work has been screened at festivals around the world and she participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus as film director in 2008. Her crowdfunding campaign 'The Inner District' won the Google sponsored Indiegogo competition 'Gründergarage' in 2012.
Juliane worked as graphic designer for clients like Siemens VDO, VW Autostadt, New Yorker or Unilever from 2000 to 2005, graduated with a masters in design at the university of arts, Braunschweig in 2003 and lived as freelance designer and filmmaker in Asia (Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia) from 2005 to 2011 before returning to Germany.
