Approaching my graduation date of May 2016 from the University of North Texas, I have arrived at a point in life where all aspects are changing at a whirlwind.

With my degree in Public Relations reaching its endpoint, I am confronted with the excitement that is the "adult world." It feels as if it is uncharted territory, but in reality merely a minor stepping stone in life.

I have spent the last five years strengthening my knowledge in the operations of a small business. With a minor in entrepreneurship and a plethora of managerial duties at Black Forest Coffee, I have been able to apply my degree as it was being taught.

Proving my managerial capabilities was only a small step at the coffee shop. Recently, I have begun creating their online presence. Black Forest Coffee lacked a name in the 21st century. I have started from ground zero building a website and all social media accounts for them, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Since then, it has been my responsibility to maintain these platforms.

In what I refer to as my "spare time," I find myself coordinating the schedule of a local tattoo artist, which involves corresponding with clients. Additionally, I run a small photography business capturing the sweet moments of maternity and families.

In between all these things, I find my greatest hobbies being anything dealing with fitness. Running, lifting and eating clean are just a few of my enjoyments in life.

Pass the point of graduation, I hope to further my experiences in an environment communicating with a business' clients through traditional means, as well as social media means. Applying my creative eye to a company's overall goal would be a dream come true.
