Jordan Bouvier

I'm a software developer specializing in web application development. I've been creating Python applications since 2006, and have been using Django since 2008.

My career began as a system administrator for a web hosting company. After managing Linux servers for several years, I was hired by Google. There, I started as a hardware tech in their data centers, eventually transitioning to IT support for Mac and Linux computers and internal tools development in the Chicago office. This background gives me a unique insight into application development from service management and end user perspectives.

I strongly believe in open source technology. I've helped to open source and maintain several projects including PyAuthorize and the Python Madmimi client.
