Hello! I am an ISS Space Station Ambassador partnered with the ISS U.S. National Laboratory.

In 2005, Congress designated the U.S. modules of the ISS as a National Laboratory. This act allowed non-NASA research to be carried out on the ISS by universities and corporations

As an ISS Space Station Ambassador, I host free educational events about the ISS in my local area of Gwinnett County, Georgia.

The typical event I host is called “Story Time From Space”. For the first few minutes, I explain what the ISS is and why the research on board is important. This is followed by a video of an actual astronaut on the ISS reading a children’s story about space or science. To wrap things up, the children participate in an activity or art project.
