Hospitality has been something that always has interested me and the Resort/Casino aspect of if has recently been my focus. Ive taken a variety of courses related to the gaming industry and have learned a little about every position in regards to Casinos. My ideal career is to be apart of management at any one of the top Casinos and working towards making this dream a reality is exactly what im doing now. I have had the opportunity to hear a variety of guest speakers involved in the casino industry, and with every one I listen to I develop an even greater desire to succeed in this industry. I am currently trying to find an internship or job directly related to the casino industry and this is the step I am working on to help increase my knowledge and experience in this field. I am interested in any position pertaining to the casino industry because what I have learned is having first hand experience in a variety of areas is exactly what it takes to be a successful management member.

I am a very hard working individual who just last May began supervising a crew of seven employees at Hampshire College. I am very good at making deadlines and being able to not only complete the job, but motivate others while doing so. No matter where I go I am always sure to have a friendly face on and this is one quality about me that will always shine. I am willing to try just about anything and am up for any challenge or new experience that comes my way.

I currently am going to school for Hospitality and Tourism Management at The Isenberg School of Management, Umass Amherst. I am currently a Senior and just about have everything done so that I can finally earn my Bachelors degree. I have made deans list every semester and currently have a GPA of 3.66. One of the most recent learning experiences that I was able to do was being a T.A. for the Hospitality Law class. After not only taking that class but being a T.A. in it, I have gained a lot of information in regards to the legal aspects of hospitality which is something that I have always thought to be important in regards to any management position.

I am willing to do whatever it takes to break through into the resort/casino industry and I am going to do anything it takes to achieve my goal of becoming part of management at a successful casino. I am looking for a challenge so if anyone has one they are willing to throw at me, I am willing to accept any that come my way.
