John Burwell

I work as a software architect, cook French/Creole food, listen to blues and jazz, and love solving hard problems. I am an incurable chocoholic with an insatiable sweet tooth. I prefer BSD to Linux, and solid state to tubes. At work, I design and build large scale distributed systems, and serve on the Apache CloudStack PMC. At home, I tinker with Java and Smalltalk. One day, I will get back into shape and learn to play jazz piano.
