Barry Vaughn

J. Barry Vaughn is rector of Christ Episcopal Church of Las Vegas, NV, and was founding director of Servant Year in Philadelphia, one of the Episcopal Church's young adult service programs. He has served churches in Alabama, California, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. Barry has also taught at several universities and a seminary and published many articles, sermons, and parts of several books. He is the author of Bishops, Bourbons, and Big Mules: A History of the Episcopal Church in Alabama (University of Alabama Press, October, 2013). Barry received his BA from Harvard University, his MDiv from Yale, and his PhD from Scotland's University of St. Andrews.
