Was received as a Veterinary Technician (1990) and then as Teacher primary education with specialization in Technology and Environment (2010) in the Metropolitan Technological University (UTEM). Later during obtained a postgraduate in Science Teaching (2011) at the Central University, where from 2014 also pursuing a Master of Science in Education. It oriented its activities on education and research in marine mammals, especially cetaceans. He has participated in several national and international events. Author and co-author of several scientific publications in national and international journals. His research focuses on the study of the morphology and evolution in mammals. Currently he is Curator of Vertebrate Zoology of the National Museum of Natural History, Chile
