Jonathan Carr-Harris

As a world-traveler, I spent much of my life living in a variety of countries and cultures, where I developed an acumen for thinking creatively. Despite my travels, I call Toronto home and believes strongly in helping spur Canadian innovation.

Today, I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Venio - a disruptive health solution, which generates a fitness and nutrition plan that is personalized around your body and evolves around your goals, behaviour and preferences.

Previously, as a Founder in two other start-ups, I have worked in versatile business and management capacities. More recently, I have worked at K Network - a not-for-profit, which works with Khan Academy, an educational tool that has delivered over 140 million educational lessons and more importantly, provided lessons free for anyone, anytime, anywhere. In my spare time I'm currently volunteering to set up the first Canadian - Khan Academy.

I began by finishing high-school a year early. I volunteered and fundraised extensively for 12 months, and using my enthusiasm and young age, I attended the Democratic Convention in Denver, where he actively participated in the foreign policy discussions, and helped form the current American policy platform. I attended McGill University for a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, and studied Spanish on exchange in Spain. In my second year of college, I founded my first company - an entertainment focused start-up.

In my leisure time, I enjoy playing sports, volunteering and finding creative solutions to world problems.
