Six soulfully inspired voices hailing from Jersey City, NJ, known for their harmonies, blends, and textures have come to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and carry the message of the cross to a dying world in need of Salvation.

J’Carter (formerly known as “The Carter Sisters” and “The Carter Family”) started singing as children at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Jersey City, New Jersey. They now minister in song at Salvation, Healing & Deliverance Center Church where their parents Pastor John & First Lady Dolores Carter preside.

J’Carter believes in what they sing while purposing in their hearts to never leave home without the anointing. In their more than 20 years of singing experience, these siblings have embraced versatility, blending a fresh contemporary praise and inspirational sound with original Gospel flair. In addition to singing at innumerous churches, events and venues, J’Carter has also ministered in song at the legendary Apollo Theatre, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). They’ve participated as contestants in Gospel Dreams where they placed 7th nationally and The McDonald’s Gospel Fest in 2000 where they were named Winners in the Adult Category. Singers, songwriters, arrangers, worshipers… J’Carter is coming with a movement like no other and an anointing that will usher you from Glory to Glory.
