Despite cerebral palsy and doctors' low expectations for my potential, my story has been one worth writing.

I currently write for The Cavalier Daily, the University of Virginia's independent student newspaper, and function as one of two Senior Arts & Entertainment Editors. I also am a major contributor to Modern Vinyl (http://modern-vinyl.com), a DJ for WTJX and 91.1 WTJU-FM in Charlottesville, the Social Media/Marketing Chair for To Write Love on Her Arms' UVA chapter, and a Facilities Attendant at the UVA Aquatic & Fitness Center, as well as a part-time retail clerk at Sidetracks Music in downtown Charlottesville.

I'm accomplishing all this while majoring in both English and Media Studies and writing my second novel, which hopefully will be ready for publication later this year. I'm looking to enter the music industry after graduation and to enable those with similar drives to create something above expectations.
