I love all things beautiful… appreciate the craftsmanship and labor it takes to achieve it… and strive to surround myself by it.

I became aware of my own creativity after an albeit late introduction to the world of art. While employed with a nationally known museum; I gained knowledge of the various mediums, exposure to the works of numerous artists and curatorial insight regarding those works. I began to understand that my passion for creating great photographs surpassed the utilitarian framework I operated from up to that point. Being emerged in this culture where all involved were either artist themselves or had an appreciation of art presented an atmosphere conducive to the exploration of all things creative. This contributed greatly to the confidence needed to bring forth the ideas and images that constantly consumed my imagination. I believe, there is no greater satisfaction than creating - and that satisfaction - is the great motivator for conceptualizing the next creation. I’ve come to terms with the fact that the ability to create is a gift; one that I will never take for granted. It has allowed me to affect the lives of many while staying true to my original purpose, which is …
...to capture the spirit of the individual or event being photographed.
