As humans, we go through bouts of indecisiveness - that's okay! I was never 100% sure about what I wanted to pursue after my years of higher-education but I did, however, know that enriching others' experiences and creating an emotional rapport was vital for personal success. Having fun to me is important. Family is important and so is friendship. I now am a part of the growing machine of the of Hospitality machine and I bring excellent service in the Low Country eight days a week.

If I know one thing it is:

Citizens of the world enjoy travel, and those people want to make their time away from home as memorable as possible with the least amount of stress. So what am I all about?

As an employee of SpringHill Suites - by Marriott; I am a valued team-member and I honestly enjoy the people I work with and the strangers I get to meet. That's right - strangers! Being able to communicate with members of you own culture is excellent and attaining the gratitude of those outside of it make diversity a tangible concept. In my early childhood lessons I received from my parents I was taught to embrace those who were different and may not identify with my experiences. Advertise yourself and sell your story and make a difference.

Tip from "Mr. Hospitality":

If you TRULY want to make yourself noticeable when meeting someone new; smile and maintain eye-contact. Tell a joke and be yourself. Don't be a robot. Use their name throughout the conversation. Use it frequently and you'll have a 100% guarantee that you are the face that is remembered. YOUR name will be lodged in their minds and they'll speak highly of you, too.

PS: Managers love employee praise.
