Jennyse Cokes

One rainy afternoon in Brookyln New York aspiring cartoonist Jennyse Cokes made her grand debut. As a child Jennyse often spent her afternoons coloring, playing with her stuffed animals and watching cartoons and Discovery channel specials. While in elementary school she became inspired by a fellow classmate’s “cut and paste” artworks, so she began crafting her own. From cut and paste she then graduated to sketches and character design. During high school she began studying art history and got exposed to painting and using different mediums. During her second year in the multimedia program at Durham College she was suddenly struck with a strong urge to make a cartoon with her friend and is currently attempting to do so.
