JC Rubio

Born in the bright lights of New York City, he spent his childhood in the deserts of New Mexico. In New Mexico his lone source of entertainment was watching television. Being an only child, he felt a powerful connection with the characters he would see on the silver screen. Even in his earliest memory he recalls hoping that one day he would be Ed McMahon on Star Search. His intuitive style of hosting was sparked by translating all of his mothers favorite shows from English to his Spanish only speaking family. Although, to pursue a life of hosting was unheard of in his family. JC clearly had an exceptional talent for entertaining. Even as a boy he was selected to announce the play-by-play for the Boston Celtics and LA Lakers NBA Championship series at his local mall. That only encouraged him further and he decided to successfully dabble in the world of radio and theater before moving on to EMCEE events. This landed him jobs for Fortune 500 companies like MCI WorldCom. He knew he was doing something right. Although he enjoyed his hometown success, JC knew he was built for bigger and better things. He knew he needed to pursue his calling and relocated to Hollywood. That move was a wise decision. Since then, he has appeared in numerous world wide commercials, film/theater productions and done several voiceover spots in multiple languages. JC has proved himself a game show extrodainnaire matching his fun and vibrant personality with his natural competitive drive. One important game show that changed his path was called "Temptation." During the filming of that show, the host asked JC what he would choose as his ultimate prize. JC responded without skipping a beat, "Your job" and that moment proved to be a turning point in JC's career, as he realized he needed to devote his full energy back to the world of hosting, his true passion. Currently, JC can be seen hosting on the worlds largest new media platform, AfterBuzzTV, founded by Extra host Maria Menounos. He can be seen consistently on the hottest red carpets. He proves to be a celebrity favorite in interviews with a style and energy that is unforgettable. When asked about a personal motto he lives by, he simply stated, "Follow your bliss and God will open doors for you where there were only walls" JC Rubio has time and again proven himself to be the seasoned entertainment professional he dreamt of as a child and now has created an amazing career for himself.
