Jonathan Robinson

I lead a number of programs at The Kauffman Foundation to support and encourage entrepreneurs and better enable the formation and growth of new and young firms in the United States.

Particular attention paid to the creation and enhancement of local and regional entrepreneurial ecosystems and improving access to financial, human, intellectual and social capital; to veterans' entrepreneurship and the value of the entrepreneurial experience in military transition assistance; to community college entrepreneurship education and support; and to the development of entrepreneurship curricula and training resources.

I am also researcher for and manager of the Foundation's work on expeditionary economics and entrepreneurship-led development, a research program focused on building markets and the role of the entrepreneur in growing economies in fragile and failing states.

I love New York, the Mets, and good food and drink.
