Business Developer in Ahmedabad, India

I am a Business Developer currently living in Ahmedabad, India. My interests range from technology to entrepreneurship. I am also interested in Integrated Business Development and Innovation in Technologies.

Role and Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Planning and Marketing:

- Develop plan and budget with Practice Directors to meet program and financial targets.

- Facilitate understanding of program and financial risks in developing new business

- Facilitate brand recognition. Initiate, facilitate, manage and build new and existing client and partner relationships.

2) Business Development and Revenue Generation:

- Track, identify, develop and pursue an opportunity in keeping with areas of emphasis with new and current clients.

- Lead and support negotiations with clients, partners, and consultants.

- Ensure system to track upcoming RFPs, maintaining corporate new business tracker

- Manage the bid/no-bid process

- Serve as advisor on all bids on strategy, teaming, recruitment, writing, and pricing

- Manage strategic bids including IDIQs/IQCs, and full and open bids, and lead at times, corresponding proposal teams

- Ensure compliance with proposal requirements

3) Resource Planning and Management:

- Lead, promote and provide quality control oversight in all business development functions and operations

- Consistently assess workload, matching existing personnel resource needs to business development demand, and recommend need for new staff or surge capacity

- Works in partnership with HR / Recruitment to ensure winning proposal recruitment

- Train, coach, and mentor in strategic planning, marketing, and business development functions
