J.D. Klippenstein

Well, I am not going to tell my whole life story on this page, but I do want to say a couple of things. Let's see... My name is J.D. Klippenstein. I am married to a beautiful and wonderfully goofy woman named Sarah. We moved to Chicago almost almost a year and a half ago. Sarah is a first grade teacher at a school on the westside of the city and I am a grad student in the MA in Social Justice and Community Development program at Loyola University Chicago. I am also a community organizer "cutting my teeth" as a full time intern at the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH). I am currently organizing for a campaign focused on the educational rights of homeless students. I have been with CCH since February 2012--including a summer internship with the Midwest Academy--and I will be there until the end of spring 2013.
