Throughtout my life, 20 years to be exact, I have done a lot of learning. In fact, from the day I was born up until now I have been learning this whole time. To be even more precise, I have learned so much that I cannot remember every single thing that I have learned during my time in this world. Growing up, learning from past mistakes has led me to be the young man that I am now and I am very thankful for that.

Currently a Junior at North Carolina Central University I have chosen to earn my degree in business management. The reason behind my decision to major in business was influenced heavily by society in general (people, businesses, and ways of life). Often I hear people refer to America as a business and it gives me the desire to understand how major corporations operate. It also gives me the incentive to really understand how much these companies really contribute to the country as to where things are set as a norm or standard. Most importantly my decision to learn business has to do a lot with wanting to be successfull because I believe it is involved with everything.

Though I do not know what I want to be doing career wise after college, I do know where I want to be. That is among the best at whatever I am doing. I believe one thing we all have in common is the ability to learn. I also believe that true success involves being important. So therefore what I learn should and will be utilized to the best of my ability as I encourage others to do the same.

"No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new." - Steve Jobs
