I work in a wide variety of media. I draw, paint and have done clay sculpture. I am a songwriter, film maker and harmonica player. Most of all I am a writer. I have published one novel

. Both of them focus on Portland history and Slabtown is specifically about murder. Recently I launched a podcast

that will tell the story of a new investigation of a famous murder that has been unsolved since 1946. I have also adapted my friend Don's book (

) as a TV cop show set in 1964 called Wild 49. And I am working on my next book which will look at Portland during Prohibition (1916-1932).
