Joven Demonteverde is the Managing Director of The Financial Controllers, a commercial accounting firm specialising in outsourced accounting and virtual CFO services. Joven is an integral resource providing high level corporate expertise and top tier consulting practices to SME's and start-ups.

With over 10 years’ experience as an accountant in both public practice and commercial industry, Joven’s expertise with financial and management accounting has led to significant improvements in business support processes and financial reporting for a variety of companies.

Joven has worked with several start-ups in utilising market-leading technologies to streamline their accounting processes and establish strong reporting frameworks. Joven’s experience in business accounting extends over several industries, entity structures, and business types.

Joven has evolved the entire accounting function of an international, publicly listed mobile media advertising agency; resulting in a robust and efficient reporting function while meeting the strictest compliance standards.

Joven has been involved in the early stage commercialisation of a high growth internet company, assisting in the application to secure a government grant from Commercialisation Australia, and preparing the company for a subsequent capital raise.

Joven is committed to ongoing education and industry participation with current membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA), and a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Joven was also a regular contributor on Ask the Strategist, a weekly live radio show segment on Eagle Waves Radio held every Thursday 6pm at Vivo Cafe in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The strategists instantly provide workable solutions to the problems and opportunities asked by business owners on the show.
