Originally from the Dominican Republic, my family and I came to the United States in 1981; but it wasn't until 2003 when I first picked up a digital camera and started shooting everything in sight. I taught myself the craft by reading blogs, websites and books by some of the greats like Scott Kelby, Joe McNally, Moose Peterson and Matt Kloskowski to name a few. I am currently still shooting as much as possible, going to Chicago's museums and attractions to capture everything this city has to offer. I am also leading a photography team for my church as well as doing portraits, weddings, and other events for individual clients.
