Davis Williams

I am a college senior studying communication and political science at Truman State University. I am a political junky, and have done several different projects about U.S. politics and communication strategies and tactics. Some of the topics I studied are the rise of the Tea Party, methods of messaging in elections, and political polarization. I have written my own in-depth political theory and created a hypothetical campaign in which I detailed a process for getting a Constitutional Amendment to overturn the Citizens United ruling. I am also in the process of writing a book about the growing cynicism in American politics and the challenges to the electoral system and structure. I am also a former Ron Paul supporter and, though I disavow much of what I previously thought, I can offer insight into how to gain support from nontraditional sources the way that Sen. Paul was able to do.
