"BMS" Bring More Skin to Swim~ Jean started BMS directly out of her home in 2010 and is the beauty, brains and driving force behind the Brand all while keeping each piece fresh and cutting edge. ~~~~~~~~~HER STORY~~~~~~~~ When Jean was a little girl she'd watch her grandmother croche' and knit. Her mother and aunt were always quilting and crafting. These three woman were very significant in Jean's self-taught seamstress ways. Throughout her years in grade school Jean handmade her girlfriends skirts and tube dresses using vibrant swimwear fabrics. Jean would sit on Naples, Fl beach watching sunsets dreaming to sell bikinis from a tiki hut one day and being happy. Jean attained her esthetics licensure in 2004-In 2010 Brass Monkey Swimwear was incorporated and the company Logo was trademarked in 2011 before her live appearance on Howard Stern Show in New York. "Brass" symbolizes a Tan, "Monkey" symbolizes a cute intelligent animal. The BMS Logo wears a ball cap backwards incorporating sun protection. BMS can also mean "Bring More Skin to Swim" educating the importance of skin care through the swimwear brand.
