Before returning to the states, Jeanette was based in rural Rwanda, where she worked collaboratively with local artisan cooperatives to build managerial capacity, acquire strategic partnerships and develop business models that create financial stability and independence. Jeanette has also marketed and launched new product lines for New York City based companies, negotiated partnerships in order to build micro-clinics in rural Haiti, developed early childhood education monitoring and evaluation tools for use in Uganda, and organized community events throughout Switzerland.
As a bona fide Army Brat, Jeanette has grown up on bases across the United States and currently resides in Washington, D.C. She attended Franklin University Switzerland where she earned a BA in International Communications and Media Studies, and she holds a Master of Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. She was a Development Project Management Institute Fellow in Rwanda, a Frontier Market Scout Fellow in DC, and a Hult Prize finalist. Her international education allowed her to travel academically to over eighteen countries studying everything from mythology to ethnic conflict.
Jeanette grew up an avid equestrian and still enjoys hopping back in the saddle whenever possible. She also enjoys exploring her newfound passions of diving and surfing especially in tropical locations.
