• Foster Care Counts is dedicated to improving the lives of current and former foster youth as well as the families and systems that work together to raise and find “forever homes” for the more than 400,000 foster children in our country’s child welfare system today.

• Foster Mother’s Day (annual gala/spa/carnival for 2,000 foster parents/youth)
• Virtual mentoring program for high school and college-aged foster teens

• Part-time importer and reseller of Thai straw purses made by victims of 2004 Tsunami. All net proceeds were donated back to a microfinance group working with Tsunami victims to develop and grow their businesses.

Moved to part-time position in 2008 until present.
