Jeanne Carey, MD

I am the Infection Control Officer at Ryan Health, a federally qualified health center in New York City. In this role, I am responsible for the effective direction, management and operation of the network’s infection prevention and control initiatives, including outbreak investigation. I inform and educate the network’s leadership team, committees, providers and other staff members regarding infection control and prevention policies and programs and consult with the city and state health departments when necessary. My responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures for the network that ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards as well as state and federal regulations.
