About The Authors:
Jeanne Marie Peters holds a BFA in Theatre and a Minor in creative writing from Southern Oregon College (now University), Ashland, Oregon. She also holds acting certificates from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and the National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York. She has published short stories and poems and has acted in community theatre.

Theresa Austin has designed and crafted jewelry through the years and selections of jewelry for the three volumes of this series are her work. She has written books in tandem with her mother and composes poetry. The original Legend, which was the basis for their current book, was composed by Theresa and is found on page 213 of the story.

Both Jeanne and Theresa have taken numerous courses in writing, history, and physics from The Great Courses, which are presented by various university professors, and have attended writing seminars together. They write from life, weaving personal experiences within the text of their poetry and stories.
