Jeanne Murphy

A health care executive and registered nurse with more than two decades of experience in her field, Hopkinton, Massachusetts' Jeanne Murphy currently serves as Senior Director of Medical Management for ikaSystems in Southborough. On the team at ikaSystems since February 2011, Ms. Murphy holds oversight for the technology company's medical management suite, directing product development, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations, and managing a staff of subject-matter experts in nursing and social work. Among her recent achievements with ikaSystems, Jeanne Murphy has helped forge agreements with Milliman CareWebQI and McKesson InterQual Criteria, determine the course of activity for products using the software engineering product group, and lead the development of the company's Medical Management, Case Management, and Disease Management products. As a further testament to her professionalism, Ms. Murphy maintains affiliation with the American Case Management Association, along with designation as a Certified Case Manager.

Aside from her responsibilities at ikaSystems, Jeanne Murphy plays an integral role in and around the greater Boston metropolitan community, volunteering her time and energy to her local Pop Warner Football organization, giving to Algonquin Regional High School's THAWKS Football Boosters club, and supporting such activities as Bike MS' Cape Cod Getaway, the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge, the March of Dimes March for Babies, and the Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women. When not working, Ms. Murphy enjoys running, biking, following professional and college football, reading, and playing tennis as a member of the Boston Tennis League.

Prior to ikaSystems, Jeanne Murphy spent more than two years at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where, as Director of Case Management, she lowered Code 44 volume, reduced the average length of stay, and implemented a number of other successful initiatives. Previously, Ms. Murphy worked as Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives Healthcare Services for Joslin Diabetes Center, Director of Account Management at Healthways, and Team Leader of Case Management with Tufts Health Plan, among other roles. A graduate of Lesley University and the University of Kentucky Lexington Community College, Jeanne Murphy earned degrees in Business and Nursing from these respective schools.
