PRESENTING!...(Drum roll, please)...A LIVELY, WITTY, CHEERFUL, BOUNCE-AROUND, SING-ALONG, GET-OUT-OF-YOUR-SEAT, DANCE-LIKE-NO ONE'S- WATCHING, WIGGLY, GIGGLY, OH-SO-ENTERTAINING, musical experience for 1 -8 year-olds!

Having been a professional singer and guitar player for 30 years, I've found myself in all sorts of interesting situations along the way: performing at a reception for President Clinton with my Irish folk duo, writing campaign songs for both a Maine gubanatorial candidate and a Maine senator, recording 2 CDs that include original songs of mine, and recording an international love song for "The Giving Tree" program between Lac Megantic, Quebec and Rangeley, Maine. My interest in children's songs began when my daughter was a toddler. Comprised of traditional American favorites as well as contemporary kids' songwriters and my own original songs, my repertoire is engaging and full of fun. Kids are encouraged to participate by singing and/or clapping along, shouting out responses, acting out songs, dancing, jumping, twirling, marching...and the list goes on. Finger plays delight kids as well - especially the younger ones. For parties, I bring various "props" that entertain the kids. Depending on the age-range, my Elmo puppet guarantees fun as does my bag of rhythm instruments, and games using soft, colorful scarves. The older kids enjoy activities like "The Limbo," "The Hokey Pokey," and summer camp sing-along favorites. I'll often surprise them with a favorite song or a current radio hit, too! If space permits, I have a 6 ft. and 12 ft. parachute available.

I also specialize in holiday entertainment for HALLOWEEN and CHRISTMAS/WINTER-THEMED events and parties. My shows - "Not a Fright In Sight" for the 1 - 5 year-old set and "Halloween Fun" geared to 6 - 10 year-olds - include PARTICIPATORY Halloween- themed songs, a"spooky" story, as well as bits of seasonal humor, and rhymes scattered throughout. With Halloween "characters" displayed around me, I wear a long, medievil-style dress for the event. My Christmas entertainment is a lively mixture of secular Christmas songs and interactive kids' songs all designed to delight! Although the theme is Christmas, I'm always happy to include songs about other holidays like Hanukkah or Kwaanza.
