Volunteer & County Employee in Cleveland, Ohio

Support my charity

Hi! I am Jeannie, originally from St. Louis, MO and now living in the metro-Cleveland, Ohio area. I have recently been doing some not-for-profit training and consulting.

I am a former VISTA. I was "posted" at HandsOn Central Ohio, providing training and corporate research; and was previously "posted" with Points of Light, in Atlanta, GA., where I was the Skills-Based Volunteer Manager.

My professional background has included non-profit management, community relations, program management, training, volunteer management, fundraising and development. I also have experience working in government. I am working for the City of Cleveland, Dept. of Health, Division of HIV/Aids, as a Grants Administrator.

Please connect with me on my Linkedin profile at:

I am a dog-lover! I had a Bichon Frise for 16 years, he was my first "baby!"

For the past few years my major hobby has been volunteering.

I am a member of The Junior League of Cleveland and served on the Board of Directors as Operations Director. I am now co-chairing a new committee, in the training-area, Foster-Care Boot Camp.

I am also a member of the National Council of Jewish Women/ Cleveland Section. Two years ago I agreed to co -chair a new committee, Focus on Foster Care. The committee does a variety of activities including providing a one-time or a four-time session of curriculum in Self-Esteem training. We partner with CSU, Sullivan-Deckard Scholars and Cuyahoga County Children & Family Services Emancipation Unit, as well as various local non-profits.
