Jean-Paul Ney has long been a war correspondent in the Middle East working with various media as I>tele and LCI french TV information channels.
He was photoreporter for SIPA PRESS, GAMMA and MAXPPP.
Author of long investigation and scoops for magazines (Newsweek, Paris Match, VSD) he was journalist at France Soir national newspaper covering 9/11 facts and stories.
From 1999 to 2003 he was reporter for the Canal+ group.
From december 27, 2007 to may 6, 2009, he was held has hostage in Ivory Coast. He was arrested and tortured when he was covering the return of the rebellion in Abidjan.
He covered the second Intifada, the second Lebanon war and the fall of Colonel Kadhafi in Libya.

Jean-Paul is professor of journalism at European Institute of Journalism and Paris Superior School of Journalism. He give talks, and teaches reportage, documentary and security/safety for reporters in warzones/hotzones.
He his now the deputy-CEO and reporter of PRESSE 2.0 (P20), a press and TV agency based in Paris, France. His company works with french and international media.
