I am an observer and maker of culture. As a writer, author and strategist, I do everything from pen articles on food trends to build brand strategies and consult on campaigns for advertising agencies.
I am lucky to be an occasional cultural reporter for public radio's Word of Mouth and I currently teach web + social media copywriting at MediaBistro.
A closet academic, I like to think about the cultures surrounding brands, people, products and communities. Food, design and the domestic arts are my current sweet spots. Making things, either online or off, makes me happy.
