I bring a varied background in marketing, graphics and multicultural aesthetics to my own graphic design and marketing studio, Rotem Studio.

I first came to LA to earn my M.A. in Japanese Language & Literature from UCLA, and went into marketing and public information jobs that included the Japanese Consulate General, and audio-electronic superstar Nakamichi. I spent eight years in Tel Aviv working for a Japanese-Israeli joint venture firm in the diamond industry, a non-profit educational center for both Jewish and Arab children at risk, and a software company, as well as free-lance translating and teaching Japanese.

Upon returning to LA in 1995, I entered the world of design via architectural marketing, and then became the Public Information Officer at UCLA's International Institute.

While my background in Japanese aesthetics often informs my personal approach to design, I capture the essence of a client's own sensibility. In doing so, I enjoy putting on *their* hat and style.

In addition to my own graphic design and marketing studio, I created my own boutique apparel line, Rotem Limited Edition.
