A New Jersey professional, Jean Zahore has more than 15 years of leadership experience in the fields of information technology (IT), security, and privacy compliance. In addition to leading numerous privacy compliance program projects, he has provided strategic and operational direction to corporations, hospitals, and local governments. He has worked with senior leaders at these large organizations to reduce their risk exposure by performing privacy assessments that are tailored to their needs, risk appetites, and applicable laws and regulations. Jean Zahore holds a master of science in the management of information systems from Kean University.
Mr. Zahore’s notable positions include 11 years as an IT director and chief information officer with East Orange General Hospital and 3 years as a privacy lead consultant with Church & Dwight Co, Inc. He also spent 5 years as a health IT adjunct professor with Essex County College, teaching principles of customer service, workflow process design, and other elements of quality improvement related to health IT systems.
A volunteer organizer with East Orange General Hospital since 2013, he supports community health fairs and health screenings by providing data coordination services. When he is not working, he enjoys watching soccer and basketball, traveling, and listening to jazz music.
