Ms. Elliott has been teaching for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division since 2005 and acquired her NCIDQ certification in October 2010. Courses taught include: Textiles, Basic Drafting, Residential Design, Advanced Residential Design, Commercial Design, Advanced Commercial Design, Professional Practices, AutoCAD, and Internship. Ms. Elliott works as one of the internship coordinators working closely with employers to secure internships for students around the world. She is also a team leader for a variety of Interior Design courses. In this role she acts as a liaison between adjunct faculty allowing the team to share peer-to-peer experiences and better enable small group conversations. She also is involved with the CIDA accreditation team working on the modification and evaluation of courses or the 2013 visit. Since acquiring her undergraduate degree Ms. Elliott has worked full-time in the field of Commercial Interior Design. Her areas of specialty include space planning, AutoCAD, construction management, finish selection, field verification, and furniture specification for large Commercial clients.
