Jeff Webb Varsity Brands is the senior news editor of Human Events, a Washington, D.C.-based news and analysis outlet that takes its name from the first sentence of the United States Declaration of Independence. Webb, a long-time entrepreneur, author, and business leader, joined Human Events in 2020 as its senior news editor.
Jeff is the co-publisher of Human Events and has been with the company since it transitioned to a digital-only publication in 2013. In addition to his work at Human Events, Jeff co-publishes The Post Millennial alongside executive opinion editor Will Chamberlain.
Before joining Human Events, Jeff was the senior news editor at Pajamas Media, overseeing all editorial content for the website. He has also held positions as an online news producer at Fox News Channel and as a writer and researcher for several conservative political organizations.
Webb is the founder and former CEO of Varsity Brands, a company he established in 1974. Varsity Brands now exists under the Varsity Brands parent company, with Webb having served as its CEO until 2018. He then remained at the company as its chairman until 2020.
