There are a few things in this world that I am very passionate about, one of them being my faith. I got saved at the age of 8 and have been a Christian ever since. At the time I did not understand the depth of what I was doing but over the years I have come to understand my decision better and better. I grew up going to church but have really started to live my faith out myself these past few years, especially since I got to college. I have gotten involved in two campus ministries, Freshley and BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministries). Through these ministries, I have met so many people that have helped me through my first semester both academically and through support. More specifically I have gotten more involved in reading my bible and sharing the gospel. I have learned that not everyone believes what I do and that is something that I have to respect. I have gotten to be great friends with believers and non-believers too. Honestly, I probably get along with my non-christian friends better. College has also opened my eyes to the vast majority of religions that are practiced in the world that we live in. Though I constantly struggle with sin and rebellion, I continue to grow in my faith and my walk with the Lord each and every day.
