Jeff Forbes is a partner in the Government and Land Use Practice Group at Wood & Lamping LLP.
In addition to his work in the land use and zoning law field, Jeff has also become well versed in the complex legal issues associated with cities and villages while serving as legal counsel for a number of the Firm's local government clients. He currently serves as the Law Director for the City of Mason, the City of Springdale, the Village of Greenhills, and the Village of Waynesville. Additionally, Jeff is a member of the firm’s Eminent Domain team and is a frequent speaker on the topic. He has initiated and resolved a number of eminent domain cases on behalf of the firm’s local government clients and private property owners ranging from road widening projects and sidewalk installations to urban renewal and revitalization projects.
Before attending law school, Jeff taught English and Speech Communications to ninth and tenth graders at Archbishop McNicholas High School in Mt. Washington. He has also served on the Clermont County MRDD Board and the City of Montgomery Planning Commission.
