I'm still trying to figure out what kind of person I am. Been doing this living thing for over 36 years, and I think I have an inkling of who I am.
I'm a writer. I used to think I was an artist first, but for close to half my life, I've put a lot more effort into becoming a writer. I write stories, opinion pieces, commentary, reviews, and other random thoughts. For over 15 years, I've been doing that on my own (semi-dormant) domain, The X Bridge, but lately, I've created a lot of work for my other site, Thoughtnami. I've had fun at both places, but I feel I'm just getting started.
I'm an artist. I'm an illustrator, a painter, a sculptor, and a graphic designer. I create comics, logos, and branding. Been doing that professionally for about a decade. I've created thousands of characters over the years, and I'm preparing to present some of them in my first webcomic, which will probably launch between the winter of 2015 and the time Hailey's Comet returns, whichever comes first.
Truth be told, I'm still pretty wet behind the ears when it comes to the internet even though I've been there for nearly two decades. I co-created a great web-based animation fan community and helped build another. I inadvertedly inspired a network's creation overseas. People still consider me some kind of expert in animation (still trying to figure that one out). This road called life has taken me many places, but I'm looking forward to going to many more. I remain humble and quiet.
And I keep creating.
