Jeff Lupinacci
As worldwide CFO of IPG's Mediabrands, Jeff Lupinacci is responsible for all financial aspects of Mediabrands, including client finance, accounting, media systems, legal, compliance and IPG reporting.
Prior to joining Mediabrands Jeff served as the CFO-NA for Universal McCann. He joined UM in August 2006, after serving as CFO-NA at Leo Burnett Worldwide/Arc Worldwide, where he was responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of the company in North America, and for overseeing financial operations in regional locations including Arc in Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. At Leo Burnett, Jeff developed a plan for the finance and accounting group that successfully streamlined operations while providing superior reporting to business units on metrics such as utilization, client profitability and revenue forecasting. He led a successful effort to increase the profitability of Arc USA by 50% over an 18-month period.
Jeff was with Semaphore Partners for four years, first as VP of Finance, where he was in charge of all debt and equity aspects of the firm, and later, as CFO, where he is credited with leading the financial turnaround of the company. As Director of the Venture Capital/Private Equity Group at Koch Industries, Inc. in Wichita, Jeff was responsible for originating, analyzing, negotiating and closing private equity investments in the telecommunications and specialty finance industries, with typical investments in the $2M to $10M range.
Jeff began his career at JP Morgan Chase & Co. NY in 1991 as an Assistant VP, after being recruited directly from college into their highly-competitive 12-month management training program. He has a BA in Political Science and Business Administration from Providence College in Rhode Island.
