Jeffrey Turmelle

Jeff is the technology manager at a climate research group at Columbia University. He's a jack-of-all-trades, responsible for the whole network; from the printers to the high performance clusters and everything in between including email, dns, yp, ldap, sans and samba, along with lots of other acronyms.

With that much going on, he uses nagios, ganglia, and mon to monitor the operations and is always looking for ways to do things faster, stronger and better.

You can often find him with his friends in the hudson valley, where he enjoys craft beers (Rogue!), dinners at local restaurants and occasionally traveling to exotic locales.
