Jeff Carr
Jeff Carr
Jeff's career, spanning more than two decades, has been defined by a commitment to social justice and transformation of individuals and communities. The settings in which Jeff has worked include a neighborhood based church and community center with a meager budget and big dreams; a mid-sized non-profit with a national focus on mobilizing people of faith to advocate for the poor; and the Mayor's Office in Los Angeles, the nation's second largest city. This journey has equipped Jeff with unique expertise in program development; creation and implementation of organizational, administrative and fundraising strategies for non-profit organizations; and stellar management of people and organizations, particularly through challenging transitions in both the private non-profit and public sector.
Currently, Jeff is the Chief Operating Officer for the 2015 Special Olympics World Games, which will be held in Los Angeles in the summer of 2015 and will be the largest sporting event in the world that year.
