Jeff Ansted leads American Broadband and Telecommunications, where he provides strategic leadership spanning operations, marketing, and finance. After establishing the Ohio-based company in his home in 2003, Jeff Ansted expanded it into one of the country’s leading rural-focused competitive local exchange carriers in less than a decade. Milestones along the way include launching a pioneering United States Department of Agriculture rural development initiative spanning Michigan and Ohio.

At present, Mr. Ansted’s firm offers telecom solutions to residential customers across the Midwest that include IP-broadband and high-speed internet, as well as long-distance and local calling. A focus is on delivering competitive communication services packages tailored to the needs of individuals and families. Since 2016, his entrepreneurial footprint has also included a company division focused on enabling commercial clients to access leading-edge telecom capabilities without the need for on-site system installation and maintenance.

Mr. Ansted has achieved a number of plaudits in his industry, including finalist status for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of the Year and VentureOhio Exit of the Year, . Active with the Young Presidents’ Organization, Jeff Ansted serves on the board of the National Lifeline Association.
