Jeff Stevens, MEP, CHPP

Jeff Stevens is the Director of Emergency Management Services for CDR Maguire. He is responsible for managing a comprehensive range of emergency management activities including grant administration, mitigation, planning, exercises, emergency response and post-disaster recovery. During his tenure with CDR Maguire, Jeff and his team have responded to numerous disasters including Hurricane Isaac, Hurricane Sandy, the 2013 Northeast Blizzard, and the 2013 Colorado Floods.

Prior to joining CDR Maguire, Jeff served as an Emergency Preparedness Program Coordinator with the Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response (CEPR) at the Rhode Island Department of Health. In this role, he responded to numerous emergent events including the 2009 H1N1 Influenza Pandemic, 2010 Rhode Island Floods, and Tropical Storm Irene. During these responses, he served in multiple Command and General Staff positions primarily as the Operations Section Chief or Deputy Operations Section Chief.

During his tenure with HEALTH, Jeff also managed the Rhode Island Special Needs Emergency Registry (RISNER), which aids emergency management officials and first responders in the identification of individuals with disabilities and other needs during emergencies. He served as the co-chair of the Lieutenant Governor's Emergency Management Advisory Council's Special Populations Workgroup, as a member of the State Interoperable Communications Committee and the Statewide Emergency Response Committee.

Jeff is a FEMA Certified Master Exercise Practitioner, certified Advanced Level Emergency Manager from the Rhode Island Association of Emergency Managers, and an emergency medical technician.
