I grew up a very shy, introverted kid, doing anything I could to avoid people, period! But I knew I had to change, so in my early 20s when out in public, I volunteered whenever a request was made. Eventually, of all things, I even went into standup comedy performing with comics like Billy Martin (who's done some writing for Billy Crystal), Bill Burr (my favorite comic) and Dane Cook.

But I realized there was more to life than making people laugh, so after five years, I went back to college, got my undergrad and graduate degrees in creative writing, and began teaching at the college level. I did that for seven years and then began my coaching business.

Education, K-college, has some serious issues, and our nation is much in need of modernization to keep up with the turbulent, changing, complex times. Therefore, I have created a program to help students get ready for the 3 to 5 to, some experts say 10 career changes sure to come. No longer can we rely on old, stagnant methods of education. We must create dynamic, self-educating learners with critical, creative, intuitive thinking skills to provide the creative sector (1/2 GDP $7.1 trillion) with the workers it demands, those who have all the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed in modular form to best enable movement from career to career to career.
