Jeff Curto

Photographer Jeff Curto is Professor Emeritus of Photography at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, where he taught from 1984 to 2014.

He was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1981 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Bennington College in Vermont in 1983. Additionally, he attended Ansel Adams’ last workshop in Carmel, California in 1983.

Jeff hosts two popular podcasts about photography, one that records his History of Photography class sessions from College of DuPage and another, Camera Position, that discusses photography’s creative aspects (links below).

Each summer, Jeff teaches photography workshops for particpants of all skill levels in Italy.

A portfolio of Jeff’s photographs of Italy was published in LensWork magazine in the spring of 2005 and a limited edition folio of the work was published by LensWork 2009. His work is held in numerous private and corporate collections.
