Incongruous? On the surface perhaps, but I believe that all people should strive to not be so specialized, it makes for a much more interesting life!

So how does this work? I run a law office that focuses on civil issues throughout the North Central Indiana area, but sometimes I find the skills that I developed prior to law school get called upon when people need help with some web development, or setting up a WordPress site, etc. Typically, this call comes from other lawyers wanting to know how to get more clients without using the phonebook.

Okay, so that explains the designer and lawyer aspect of my life, but harpist? It started back in 2005, when I was studying for the bar exam and I realized I needed something to take my mind off of the daily grind of memorizing evidence rules, and obscure points of law that no one would really argue or care about beyond this test. My then wife, a terrific harpist herself, offered to teach me how to play.

What started as something fun for me to do to occupy my free time while waiting for my bar results ended up becoming so much more! After playing for a few years, I started playing weddings and events in the summer of 2008. Since then I have had the opportunity to play at many great venues and with many great people.
